8.60 લાખ પાસ થશે અને 7 લાખ બેઠક હોવાથી પ્રવેશ સમસ્યા થશે માસ પ્રમોશનને કારણે 8.60 લાખ વિદ્યાર્થી ધો. 11 કે તે પછીના વ્યાવસાયિક કોર્સમાં પ્રવેશ માટે લાયક ઠરશે. આ વિદ્યાર્થીઓેને માટે ધો. 11માં 5.50 લાખ બેઠક છે, જ્યારે ડિપ્લોમા અને આઇટીઆઇની આશરે 1.50 લાખ બેઠક છે. આમ કુલ 7 લાખ બેઠક પ્રવેશ માટે ઉપલબ્ધ છે. આ સ્થિતિમાં 8.60 લાખ પાસ થશે એટલે પ્રવેશ મેળવવા પ્રવેશ સમસ્યા સર્જાશે.
ધો.9ની બે અને ધો.10ની એક પરીક્ષાના આધારે માર્કશીટ તૈયાર થશે જતીન ભરાડે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આમાં કોઇ એક પરીક્ષા પર નહીં, પરંતુ ત્રણ પરીક્ષાનાં પરિણામ પરથી પરિણામ તૈયાર થશે. દા.ત. ત્રણ પરીક્ષામાં 50 ટકા પરિણામ આવ્યું હોય તો પરિણામ 50 ટકા જ આવશે. જો ત્રણેય પરીક્ષામાં અલગ અલગ માર્ક્સ આવ્યા, જેમ કે એકમાં 40, બીજીમાં 30 અને ત્રીજીમાં 70 માર્ક્સ આવ્યા હોય તો એની એવરેજ કાઢીને માર્ક્સ આપવામાં આવશે. ધો.9માં જેને ફર્સ્ટ ક્લાસ આવ્યો હોય તેને આમાં ફર્સ્ટ કલાસ આવી શકે.

ધો.9ની પ્રથમ સામાયિક કસોટીમાં ગણિત વિષયમાં કુલ ગુણ 50માંથી 40 ગુણ મળ્યા હોય તો તેને 40 ટકામાં રૂપાંતરિત કરીએ તો 16 ગુણ થાય
ધો.9ની દ્વિતીય સામાયિક કસોટીમાં ગણિત વિષયમાં કુલ ગુણ 50માંથી 40 ગુણ મળે તો તેને 40 ટકામાં રૂપાંતરિત કરીએ તો 16 ગુણ થાય
ધો.10ની પ્રથમ સામયિક કસોટીમાં ગણિત વિષયમાં કુલ ગુણ 80માંથી 60 ગુણ મળે તો તેને 37.5 ટકામાં રૂપાંતરિત કરીએ તો 22.5 ગુણ થાય
ધો.10ની એકમ કસોટીમાં ગણિત વિષયમાં કુલ ગુણ 25માંથી 20 ગુણ મળે તો તેને 40 ટકામાં રૂપાંતરિત કરીએ તો 8 ગુણ થાય

The Gujarat Board was formed on the basis of The Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972 & Conducts the state level exam. The main academic task of GSEB is the preparation of Syllabus for secondary school and also the recommendation of "Text Books to be taught in government schools as well as registered private schools. The Board also performs the duties of recognizing new schools, performance evaluation of schools and inspections of various schools.

More than 15 lakh students participate in the yearly Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (SSC) level examinations conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The GSEB is also entrusted with conducting the state level engineering entrance examinations GUJCET.
