Under the guidance of visionary leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, Prime minister of India and the then chief minister of Gujarat took initiative of ‘’Khel Mahakumbh’’ (KMK), mega sporting event in year 2010. Khel India was initiated nationwide by Central government with Khel Mahakumbh as the base.
Khel Mahakumbh has witnessed a record participation of more than 30 lakhs every year. Outstanding performers of KMK will get benefit of various Schemes run by Sports Authority of Gujarat; District Level Sports School (DLSS), Shaktidoot, Centre of Excellence (COE), Khele Gujarat Summer Coaching Camp, Inschool Program, Khel Pratibha Puraskar, Mahila Puraskar, etc.

Excellence in sports brings pride to a nation and citizens of the nation help build a healthier and happier society. Sports unites the nation by bridging the social and cultural boundaries.

There is no easier way other than sports to promote brotherhood and community bonding. It is a great leveler and unifier- when playing in a team, the caste, creed or community of teammates doesn’t matter.

For Both Male & Female : Under 9 , Under 11 , Under 14, Under 17, Open Age Group , Above 40 & Above 60

Salient features of Khel Mahakumbh 2018

1.Cash prize of Rs 40 crore to more than 1.60 lakhs winner at different level.

2.Total 34 Games, 950 events. More than 50,000 participants at state level.

3.Separate competition for teachers.

4.Best three schools in state to be given cash prize of Rs 5 lakhs, Rs 3 lakhs & Rs 2 lakhs.

5.Best three schools in each district to be selected for cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh, Rs 1 lakh & Rs 0.75 lakh.

6.Best three schools in each Taluka to be selected for cash prize of Rs.25,000/-, Rs.15, 000/- & Rs.10, 000/-.

7.This year DLSS Best three schools in state to be given cash prize of Rs 5 lakhs, Rs 3 lakhs & Rs 2 lakhs.

1st Step: – First of all, you need to login the official website of Go to the official website of Gujarat Information of Sports and Training (GIST) i.e. gist-sgsu.gujarat.gov.in

2nd Step: – On the home page, you find the “Register Now” link, Click on it
3rd Step: – A pop up window will open, now choose “Sports Person/ Coach/Academy Sports Club” {Sports Person के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए}

5th Step: – Now a “USER Guide (1.47 MB)” pdf is available, Download it and read it carefully

6th Step: – Find the link of Gujarat Khel Mahakumbh Registration 2022

7th Step: – Enter the required all personal information.

8th Step: - After it, click on the submit button, After filling the registration form sports person will receive OTP on mobile via sms or Email

9th Step: – After it, you need to provide OTP which you get through SMS/E-Mail.

10th Step: – After successful registration sport person can login in his/her profile and can complete it and now login in this page
