Welcome to www.kamalking.in Educational and Jobs Portal.

Hello Friends, you must have known that nowadays general elections are taking place across the country

But do you know how many level elections happen in our country and how?  Let's talk about it today

There are 3 level elections in our country: Lok Sabha (Parliament), Vidhan Sabha (Assembly) and Panchayat or Municipal Corporation elections.

The Lok Sabha elections are under the control of the Election Commission of India, and the Assembly and Municipal Corporation / Gram Panchayat elections are under the supervision of the State Election Commission.  Usually all elections are held at a gap of 5 years, but in certain circumstances these can also be held earlier.

Lok Sabha Election: It is also known as General Election.  In the election election, votes are cast for a total of 543 Lok Sabha seats.

Elections are held for 80 seats in UP and minimum for one seat each in Sikkim, Nagaland and Mizoram for Lok Sabha

Those who are elected are called MPs or Members of Parliament..

The party or group that gets more than half that means 272+ seats forms the government.  The head of government is called Prime Minister.

Assembly Elections: Governments are formed in states through assembly elections or assembly elections.

Assembly seats have been fixed in every state, usually by size.

While general elections are conducted all over the country at one time, assembly elections are held at different times in every state.

Those who win in the assembly elections are called MLAs or MLAs.

The Election Process has Three parts: Nomination, Voting and Counting of Votes .

The Time for Voting is Usually Fixed from 7 am to 5 pm (7 am somewhere).

Earlier ballot box and ballot paper were used for voting, now voting is done through EVM (Electronic Voting Machine)

After casting a vote, an ink mark is placed on the voter's finger inside the booth, so that a voter can cast a single vote..

This is called election ink or phosphoric ink. This ink of violet color does not leave easily, but it is not permanent

Usually the mark of this ink lasts for 3-4 days on the skin and 2-4 weeks on the nail. This is a proof that a voter has voted..

Votes are counted during counting and the candidate who gets the most votes in a Lok Sabha or Assembly constituency is declared victorious.
