NMMS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The important information related to the eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

Educational qualification:
Applicants who are studying in class IX in any government, local body and government-aided schools are eligible to appear.
Income of parents:
Parents of the applicants whose income is not more than Rs 1,50,000 per annum from all sources are only eligible to apply for the exam.
Qualifying marks:
One must have scored more than 55% marks in the class VIII if they belong to the general
One must have scored not less than 50% marks in the class VIII if they belong to reserved category.
NMMS 2019 Paper Pattern

The important information related to the paper pattern is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

The entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode in two parts as mention below:

MAT – Mental Ability Test
SAT – Scholastic Aptitude Test

90 minutes duration will be allotted to the applicants to solve the paper.
The question paper of the exam will contain 90 questions of 90 marks only.

The NMMS is commonly known as National Means Cum Merit Scholarship. The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship is an exam which is also known as NMMS Exam 2019. The Central Government is the official organizing body to conduct the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship exam every year for the eligible applicants.

However, the exam is managed by the local educational authorities to award 1,00,000 scholarships to the eligible applicants from class IX to class XII. However, only those applicants will be eligible to get the scholarship from the authority whose parents income is not more than Rs 1,50,000 per annum from all sources.

The National Means Cum Merit Scholarship is conducted in each state and union territories. However, the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship will be organized in two stages only. The first stage of the exam will be conducted by the respective state authorities.

And applicants who have cleared the first stage will be eligible to appear for the second stage conducted by the NCERT. Applicants will get all the notification and information about the entrance exam on the official website of the university itself.
