Assistant Needed For 10 Months

School of Engineering and Technology: (Research Project - Civil Engineering)
Navrachana University invites applications for the position of Research Project Assistant for DST – SERB start up research grants in Engineering Sciences in the area of solid mechanics, structural engineering 

Research Project: 

Title: Numerical Analysis of elastostatic plate with eccentric hole in bipolar coordinate system. 
Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Department of Science and Technology (DST – SERB), Govt. of India

Job Duties

Requires creating models in commercial software COMSOL, running well written codes in FORTRAN and getting results, writing project reports and publications

The Fellowship for the Research Project Assistant will follow the rules and regulations of DST – SERB, Govt. of India. 

Job Duration 

Duration: 10 months till the project completion in January 21, 2019 

Essential qualification 

1. BTech in Civil engineering or BTech in Mechanical Engineering students who are interested in subjects such as strength of materials and solid mechanics
2. ME/MTech (Structural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Solid Mechanics Area)

Lecturers/Academic Associate (Mathematics)

Mathematics Faculty
Navrachana University (NUV), Vadodara. 

Duties: Teach undergrad math courses, conduct exams, mentor students, help out with program admin work, and pursue scholarly activities.

Qualifications:
1. Good academic standing - over least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) at the Master's Degree level in Mathematics.
2. Preference will be given to candidates with NET and/or teaching experience of one-two years.
